This Karmann Ghia is a pleasure to cruise around in.
It went through restoration before recently, when it got a nice paint job, new floor pans, and a bunch of other new stuff.
Judging from the condition of wear components, the odometer reading is believed to be correct.
There's a small rust hole is in the spare tire area on the driver’s side. There is a bit of surface rust showing itself on the driver’s rocker. There is also some body filler in the back of the car.
The new engine has J-tubes so the heater isn’t hooked up. All the warning lights work, as do the turn signals, hazards, headlights/high beams, tail lights, brake lights, and horns. The parking brake works, and the car stops great.

New shift rod bushing, and shift coupler (the car shifts like a dream)

The case was align-bored, but didn’t even need to have the thrust cut.
All engine tin was media blasted and repainted
All engine tin was properly sealed during assembly for best cooling
It has a new Genuine VW oil pump / oil filter combo with a Bosch filter. This filter adapter is really a great part.

The rebuilt engine has just over 300 miles.
The engine sounds and runs great. It was properly broken in, and has already had two oil changes and valve adjustments. It doesn’t leak a drop of oil.
